At the start of June, some celebs talked about Pride Month, which commemorates the anniversary of the Stonewall riots—historic LGBT demonstrations in 1969 that led to the fight for gay rights—with posts on social media.

On Instagram, openly lesbian “Umbrella Academy” star Ellen Page posted a black and white photo of her and wife Emma Portner. The two are topless but strategically covered, embracing, and about to kiss.

On Twitter, “Westworld’s” Evan Rachel Wood, who identifies as bisexual, likewise greeted, and added, “Please don’t forget the ‘B’ in LGBT.”

“Dear Evan Hansen” star Ben Platt wished the gay community well and shared an old photo of himself when he was a toddler, in a Snow White costume and holding a half-eaten apple.

Teen star Joshua Rush, who plays a gay kid in Disney’s “Andi Mack,” tweeted, “You are beautiful. You are valid. You are seen. You matter.”

Meanwhile, “Guardians of the Galaxy’s” Dave Bautista tweeted, “My mom’s a lesbian. I think I turned out OK.”

R&B star Mariah Carey shared photos of herself in a white sweater with a rainbow-colored “pride” design in the middle. “Love always to my friends in the LGBTQ+ community,” she said, then directed fans to a website that sold related goodies. “Get my festive shirt and more Pride merch!”
