Neri Naig on miscarriage healed by faith, hope and letting go

MANILA, Philippines – Actress Neri Naig recalled the time when she and her husband, Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda lost their first child when she had a miscarriage and how faith in God, hope and acceptance ushered her to the road to recovery and joy.

Naig posted Monday an ultrasound photo from exactly four years ago, May 27, 2015.

“May 27, 2015.

The actress opened up her emotions after learning of the miscarriage and even admitted  questioning God.

“Devastated. Bakit!” Naig said.

Naig then addressed other moms who are undergoing the same feeling of loss: “Sa lahat ng nakakarelate dito. Alam ko ang pakiramdam ng nawalan. Sobrang sakit.

Naig and Miranda welcomed their first child, Miguel Alfonso in 2016.

Patience is a virtue ika nga,” Naig continued.
