Jason Momoa upset for his Khaleesi in ‘Game of Thrones’ finale

Despite having left “Game of Thrones” back in season one, Jason Momoa has remained a loyal follower of the show and made known his sentiments of the end of a divisive season.

Momoa played Emilia Clarke’s on-screen husband Khal Drogo to her Daenerys and was killed off in the first season. He appeared once in season two in what seemed to be a dream sequence.

He live-streamed his reactions on Instagram Stories, which was captured by Twitter users after the finale premiered on Monday, May 20.

The “Aquaman” star was not pleased to see that his Khaleesi — the title for the Khal’s wife — had been killed by Jon Snow (Kit Harington), her lover and nephew.

“F*ck you, punk!” he said, growling at the screen.

He also showed his disapproval at Daenerys’ former adviser, Tyrion Lannister, as he chose Bran Stark as Westeros leader. He said “f*ck you” and “who gives a f*ck” during the discussions to instate Bran, who had not shown an interest in being a leader throughout the series.

Momoa questioned too Jon Snow’s fate, which was to return to the military order the Night’s Watch, where he had been Lord Commander.

“You’re going back to what the f*ck you did in the first place and you killed Khaleesi? Oh my god,” he said with frustration.

An emotional Momoa openly expressed his sympathies for Daenerys on Clarke’s Instagram where he said, “Baby that episode killed me” and “I love u madly.”

Momoa’s reactions echo that of many fans, and even some cast members did not hide their disappointment, as seen in a viral video posted on May 10 which consists of the actors’ reactions to season 8 in various interviews.

Case in point: When Kit Harington was asked to describe the season finale in one word by Pop Buzz in February, he said without skipping a beat, “disappointing,” only to backtrack and say “epic— or one of those.” JB
