Janno Gibbs salutes hardworking production crew during mountain shoot

Singer-actor Janno Gibbs praised the hardworking production crew during the shooting of his reunion movie with fellow actors Andrew E and Dennis Padilla.

Gibbs shared on Instagram a video clip from the shoot in a mountainous area.

“Saludo sa magigiting na manggagawa sa likod ng isang pelikula (Salute to the brave workers who work behind the scenes of a film),” Gibbs said on May 20. “Di po madali ang ginagawa nila (Their work is not easy).”

Gibbs added that the workers are the ones in charge of hauling the lights, cameras and other equipment up and down the mountain.

“Akyat baba ng camera, ilaw at kung ano ano sa bundok (they carry the cameras, lights and other equipment up and down the mountain),” he said. “At lahat ng yan habang nakangiti parin (and they do all these things with a smile).”

Gibbs, Andrew E and Padilla’s new movie “Sanggano, Sanggago at Sanggwapo,” sees the three comedians bringing back old school and is expected to come out this 2019. The movie, which is under Viva Entertainment, is directed by Al Tantay and is a reunion for Gibbs, Andrew E and Padilla. The three have worked together in other movies in the ’90s, such as “Mahirap Maging Pogi” and “Si Mokong, Si Astig at si Gamol,” to name a few.  /ra
