Bayani looking forward to John Lloyd’s showbiz comeback

MANILA, Philippines – Comedian Bayani Agbayani is looking forward to actor John Lloyd Cruz’s showbiz comeback.

“Ako ang isa sa mga nanghihinayang na dapat talaga bumalik siya sa showbiz dahil isa siyang kawalan, kung walang John Lloyd sa industriya,” Agbayani said Thursday during the press conference of the sitcom “Home Sweetie Home.”

Agbayani admitted being a fan of Cruz, praising him for his personality and his acting skills.

“Alam niyo kasi si John Lloyd ang isa sa mga aktor na hinangaan ko sa pagkatao niya at saka sa kanyang pag-acting. At nakasama ko na rin siya sa abroad. Napakabait at napakagaling na aktor ni John Lloyd,” he said.

The comedian also recalled that he recently bumped into Cruz in one event.

“Nakasama ko si John Lloyd nung isang araw sa dinner. Nakita ko siya. Nakakatuwa nga eh kasi ang tagal ko na siyang hindi nakita,” Agbayani said.

Cruz has been on a showbiz hiatus since 2017.
