LOOK: Angel Locsin, Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu, other celebs cast their votes
Celebrities did not let the heat stop them from exercising their right as they went out on Monday, May 13, to cast their votes.
Angel Locsin proudly showed off her finger smeared with indelible ink as she encouraged her 5-million-strong fans to go out and vote.
“Your country’s future is in your fingertips,” Locsin said via Instagram. “Vote for a better tomorrow.”
Anne Curtis looked cool and casual when she went to the polling precinct barefaced.
Done! Hope everyone exercised their right to vote and votes wisely today. Praying for a peaceful Election Day. ❤️ pic.twitter.com/CxbGB08bLL

“Done!” she tweeted on Monday. “Hope everyone exercises their right to vote and votes wisely today. Praying for a peaceful Election Day.”
Showing off one’s finger with indelible ink seems to be the default pose, as Kim Chiu posted a photo of herself doing the same act.
“Did my part as a Filipino citizen,” she said via Instagram. “Voting is not only our right — it is our power. The future of this republic is in the hands of the Filipino voters and every election is determined by the people who show up.”
The ageless Dawn Zulueta, meanwhile, managed to crack a joke as she told her fans the real winners in the elections are the manicurists.
“Aaaaand the winners are… The Manicuristas!” she quipped via Instagram. “#halalan2019 #votewisely.”
Bianca Gonzalez also flaunted her “dirty” finger to her fans after voting in her area.
Always proud to give my country the dirty finger. 🇵🇭 pic.twitter.com/Br4P9S6KgA

“Always proud to give my country the dirty finger,” she said.
It was also Frankie Pangilinan’s first time to vote this midterm election. Frankie is the daughter of Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan and Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
The proud Pangilinan marked his daughter’s milestone by sharing a picture of their fingers with indelible ink via Instagram, as well as a snap of Frankie shading her ballot.
“Si Frankie bilang first time voter!” said Pangilinan via Instagram. “Salamat naman at hindi pumalya ang [mga] VCM namin at maayos ang pagboto.”
