Aiko Melendez files libel case vs Zambales vice governor
MANILA, Philippines — Actress Aiko Melendez has filed a libel case against Zambales Vice Governor Angel Magsaysay-Cheng for tagging her on the illegal drug trade.
But not this one. Para isangkot mo ako sa droga! This is too much. I filed a libel case against Angel Magsaysay-Cheng,” Melendez wrote Tuesday in a Facebook post.

The actress filed the complaint after Cheng supposedly posted a video on Facebook referring to Melendez as mistress of Subic Mayor Jay Khonghun and tagging her to the illegal drug trade.

Khonghun is running against Cheng for the Zambales vice governor post in the upcoming elections.
Melendez also attached a copy of her drug test report showing she is negative from methamphetamine and tetrahydrocannabinol.
“Attached is my latest drug test result.
Meanwhile, Khonghun was also among the politicians included in President Rodrigo Duterte’s narcolist, but denied that he is in any way connected to the illegal drug trade. /cbb
