What went wrong between Barbie Imperial and JM De Guzman
MANILA, Philippines— Actress Barbie Imperial did not filter her words when she explained what went wrong between her and former leading man JM De Guzman.

Imperial opened up about their relationship during an interview in “Tonight With Boy Abunda” aired Monday night.
“Kakabreak ko lang din po noon e, kay Paul [Salas]. Parang masyadong mabilis. July nung nag-break kami ni Paul tapos si [J]M kasi lagi siyang nandoon talaga para sa’kin eh,” Imperial said.
The 20-year-old actress admitted she and De Guzman did not work out because it was tough to fix another person while in the process of healing.
“Sinabi naman po namin dati na parang ‘di pa siya okay din. So parang kaming dalawa po, dalawang tao na wasak. Tinatry namin parehong ayusin ‘yung isa’t isa. Buoin ‘yung isa’t isa,” Imperial said.
“Pero hindi po pala pwede ‘yon. Dapat parang meron at least isang tao na buo kasi ang hirap kung wasak ka na nga, tapos wasak din ‘yung aayusin mo. Paano mo aayusin ‘yung sarli mo?” she added.
When asked if she is ready about being friends with De Guzman, Imperial said: “Ako hindi ko po talaga kaya e, pero hindi ko naman po tutuldukan doon kasi hindi ko naman po alam kung anong mangyayari sa mga susunod na araw. Pero sa ngayon po talaga, hindi po talaga.”
Imperial and De Guzman got close when they were paired in afternoon series “Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Araw Gabi.” /muf
