LOOK: Marian Rivera reveals newborn son Sixto in close up

Kapuso star Marian Rivera revealed the first photo of her second baby Jose Sixto Dantes IV, as she give thanks for her blessings this Easter Sunday, April 21.

“Noon, nangarap kaming magkaroon ng supling at binigyan Niya kami ng isa. Makalipas ang tatlong taon, humingi kami at ibinigay Niya,” she said.

(Before, we dreamt of having a child and He gave us one. After three years, we asked again and He gave us another.)

“Ang magkaroon ng isang lalaking anak ay sagot sa aming mga dasal, kaya’t naguumapaw ang aking puso sa biyayang ito,” the actress added.  (To have a son is an answer to our prayers, that is why my heart is overflowing from this blessing.)

Rivera also thanked her supporters for their love and prayers, saying she would not have overcome her struggles if it were not for them.

“Ngayong nabuhay na ulit [si] Hesus, muling ipinapaalala ng araw na ito na lahat tayo ay biyaya ng Diyos sa isa’t-isa,” Rivera stated.

(Now that Jesus is resurrected, this day reminds us that we are all God’s blessings to each other.)

Rivera’s friends, including fellow actresses Gabbi Garcia, Bianca Gonzalez and Vina Morales, were quick to congratulate the couple and send love to the newborn.

“Good job mama,” Gonzalez applauded Rivera.

Vina Morales, on the other hand, commented on Sixto’s good looks, saying, “Ang [pogi] (He’s handsome), congratulations mom and dad god bless your family.”

Fellow celebrity moms Pauleen Luna, Katrina Halili and Nikki Gil also congratulated Rivera and Dantes.

“Best blessing any woman can receive!” Luna said.

Last Tuesday, April 16, Rivera and Dantes welcomed Sixto, following their 3-year-old firstborn, Zia. JB
