While fans anticipate news about who will be the new Darna, Lucy Torres-Gomez jumped on the bandwagon by revealing a throwback photo of her daughter Juliana Gomez in the iconic superhero’s costume.
The actress-politician posted the adorable throwback picture on her Instagram page last Monday, April 15.
“She wore (the costume), and so she was. Darna!” said the doting mom.

With the spot for the iconic superhero role now vacant, after Liza Soberano withdrew from the project, fans have been placing their bets on possible actresses to play Darna. Given the throwback photo, fans were then quick to call Juliana “the one.” The young model, however, has not yet officially commented on the possibility, as of this writing.
Juliana at the moment has been touring Rome, Italy with her friends, as per her latest Instagram posts.
