MANILA, Philippines — Directors Joe and Anthony Russo appealed to Marvel fans on Wednesday not to spoil the upcoming movie “Avengers: Endgame.”
The Russo brothers posted on Twitter a letter with the hashtag #DontSpoilTheEndgame.
“To the greatest fans in the world, This is it. This is the end. The end of an unprecedented narrative mosaic spanning 11 years and 11 franchises,” the letter read.

With only a week left before the anticipated movie premieres in cinemas, Joe and Anthony expressed the hard word it took for them to give a “surprising and emotionally powerful conclusion” to the franchise.
“Please know that the two of us, along with everyone involved in Endgame, have worked tirelessly for the last three years with the sole intention of delivering a surprising and emotionally powerful conclusion to the Infinity Saga,” the brothers wrote.
“Because so many of you have invested your time, your hearts, and your souls into these stories, we’re once again asking for your help. When you see Endgame in the coming weeks, please don’t spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn’t want it spoiled for you,” they added.
The brothers ended their letter with a warning: “Remember, Thanos still demands your silence. As always, good luck and happy viewing…”
“Avengers: Endgame” marks the conclusion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) story across 22 movies.
The movie will premiere in Philippine cinemas on April 24. /muf
