Actress Yam Concepcion recently cried foul over the spread of her nude scenes in award-winning director Erik Matti’s drama film “Rigodon,” which she starred in back in 2012.

Concepcion took to social media to call out a netizen who shared sensitive scenes of her from the film to make a joke about her adultery in the drama series “Halik.” In the series, Concepcion plays Jade who cheats on her husband Lino (Jericho Rosales) with another married man (Sam Milby).

“Sana hindi ka nagpopost ng mga ganito. Nakakabastos sobra. Screen cap mo pa talaga. Ano point mo?” Concepcion said via Twitter last April 4.

(I hope you don’t post things like these. It’s so disrespectful and you even took a screen capture. What’s your point?)

“Pelikula ito na ginawa ko in 2012. Adult thriller movie ‘Rigodon’ directed by Erik Matti. Movie ito. Hindi to totoong buhay! I pray that people like you find respect for women,” she added.

(This is a film I made in 2012. An adult thriller movie ‘Rigodon,’ which was directed by Erik Matti. This is a movie, not real life! I pray that people like you find respect for women).

Later on, Concepcion appealed to those who take screenshots of her sensitive scenes in “Rigodon.”

“Please stop. Nakakabastos na. Pelikula yun. Hindi totoong buhay!” she said. “Hindi ko alam kung bakit niyo ginagawa yun. Ano ba gusto niyo mangyari? I-down ako? Ano ba gusto niyo patunayan?”

(Please stop. It is so disrespectful. It’s a movie, not real life. I don’t know why you people do this. What do you want? Put me down? What do you want to prove?)

Concepcion in the past slammed the uploads of her sensitive scenes in “Rigodon” in pornographic websites. As per an ABS-CBN interview in 2014, Concepcion said the sharing of the scenes was disrespectful to the art she and director Matti created, which she believes were done tastefully.

“Rigodon” was one of the Filipino films showcased in the New York Asian Film Festival in 2013 and the New Filipino Cinema Festival at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, California, in 2014. Cody Cepeda /ra
