Angeline Quinto dedicates revival of ‘Mula sa Puso’ to Claudine Barretto
MANILA, Philippines – Singer Angeline Quinto is dedicating her revival of the song “Mula Sa Puso,” originally sung by Jude Michael, to actress Claudine Barretto.

“Ate Clau, irevive ko po ang song na ‘Mula Sa Puso’ sobrang mahal na mahal kita Via, sa movie niyo ate Clau. Sobra,” Quinto’s text message read, as seen in Barretto’s Instagram post on Thursday.
“Para sayo itong song ate Clau. Love you ate Clau. – Angeline,” Quinto added.
Barretto portaryed the role of Via in ABS-CBN’s melodrama romance series “Mula Sa Puso” aired from 1997 to 1999.
Barretto co-starred with Diether Ocampo and the late actor Rico Yan.
“Itong batang to sobrang bait at humble,” Barretto said of Quinto.
“It’s an honor to have her sing Mula Sa Puso. Wag kang magbabago @loveangelinequinto marami kami nagmamahal sayo. Mula sa Puso, ate Clau,” she added. / gsg
