Sabina thankful to Aunt Gretchen for being ‘second mom’

MANILA, Philippines — Claudine Barretto’s eldest daughter, Sabina, has written a heartfelt letter to aunt, Gretchen Barretto, and thanked her for being her “second mom.”
Claudine posted on Thursday Sabina’s letter to Gretchen via Instagram and captioned it: “I’m not a single mom. I’ve you & Dada & Chin & Doms. Thank u for helping me raise my Kids @gretchenbarretto.”

In the letter, Sabina thanked Gretchen whom she fondly calls “Mama Nen” for paying the tuition for her learning and dancing center.
“Dear Mama Nen, Thank you for paying for my Kumon & G-Force. I have started Kumon and improved dancing thanks to you,” Sabina wrote.
“Thank you for sending clothes for my mom and I. Recently, I’ve been wearing the shirt you gave,” she added.
Sabina further thanked Gretchen for helping mom Claudine in raising her and her siblings.
“Thank you for helping my mom raise Santino and I. Thank you for being my second mom,” she wrote.
Sabina also drew an illustration of their family, including her siblings, Gretchen and cousin Dominique.
It was only recently when Claudine and Gretchen reunited and set aside their differences after years of icy relationship. /kga
