Luis Manzano is out to prove that he does not excel at TV hosting alone, but at dancing as well. He showed off his skills as he had a showdown with internet sensation Dante Gulapa, in a “Minute to Win It” episode which aired Monday, April 1.
Gulapa shot to internet stardom for his dancing, particularly for his gyrating moves and eagle dance step.
Manzano wore a black mask as part of his act. Their battle thus began, with Gulapa using his signature suave move. At one point, he even took his hooded jacket off. Once their dance-off was over, Manzano asked Gulapa what he thought of their showdown.
“Malupit, malupit. Wala akong masabi sa’yo idol (It was good. I have nothing to say, idol), ” the internet sensation answered, giving Manzano a fist bump.
The host then had some words to say about their stint in an Instagram post.
“Kadalasan ang unang naiisip sa akin ang hosting pero di alam ng karamihan ang tawag rin sa akin ay ang ‘dancing diamond of asia,'” Manzano joked.
(Most people know me for my hosting, but what they do not know is that I am also called the “Dancing Diamond of Asia.”)
“Ilan lang to sa ebidensya na may puwang ako sa hall of fame ng pagsasayaw,” he added
(This is evidence that I have a place in the hall of fame of dancing.)
Most of his fans and followers had a laugh about his performance, particularly actors Billy Crawford and Vina Morales, both also known as skilled singers and dancers.
