“Rated K” host Korina Sanchez is finally flying home to the Philippines with her twins Pepe and Pilar after over a month in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Sanchez recently took to Instagram where she shared pictures of the twins inside the plane, clearly excited that they are going home.
“Pauwi na sa wakas!!! (On the way home finally!),” she said today, April 1. “Si Pepe need lang ilakad para tumahimik. (Pepe needs to be walked to quiet down). Demanding for milk si little boy. Si Pilar was perfectly well behaved and ladylike. Love them both. Excited na si Lola, sasalubong!”
Sanchez’s husband former interior secretary Mar Roxas took a break from campaigning to fly to Pittsburgh and pick up his wife and kids.
“Reunited feels sooo good!” Roxas wrote on Instagram on March 28. “Nag pause muna ako sa kampanya para sunduin ang magiina ko. Bonus andito din si Paolo (I took a break from the campaign so I can fetch my wife and kids. Bonus is my son Paolo, who is also here).”
The twins turned a month old last March 13. As per Sanchez, she and the twins only had one visitor in Pittsburgh at that time. Nevertheless, she marked the twins’ first month with two cakes, pizza, balloons and birthday outfits.
Sanchez surprised the public when she announced the arrival of their twins last February, almost 10 years after her wedding to Roxas back in 2009. It was revealed by DZMM host Pat Daza in February that the couple opted for gestational surrogacy to conceive Pepe and Pilar. JB
