Last month, “That Hashtag Show” reported that “The Eternals” was looking to cast an actor between the ages of 30 to 49 and who “physically looks like a superhero.” The role is open to any ethnicity though an openly gay actor was preferred.

The role is rumored to be that of Hercules, a character based on the Greek and Roman mythological character of the same name, as per MCU Cosmic last Friday, March 29. In Marvel comics, Hercules is a member of the Avengers and in one alternate universe, he and Wolverine have a romantic relationship.
