She channeled her inner “dalaGangnam Pilipina” as she went around the upscale Gangnam District — wearing high-heeled boots, no less.
She also got to don a traditional Korean dress, the hanbok, for the occasion, joined by Ramirez. Wurtzbach took to her Instagram Stories yesterday, March 31, and shared a photo of her deciding between two hanboks.
“Trying on a hanbok today!” she said. “I wonder what will suit me.”
The official Instagram account of Star Magic Philippines shared a photo of the two in the traditional getup. Wurtzbach wore a hanbok in red and navy blue, while Ramirez opted for light yellow and pink.
“Sue Ramirez with Pia Wurtzbach for ‘Pia’s Postcards’ shoot in Gyeongbokgung, Korea,” wrote Star Magic.
It was not all work for Wurtzbach and Ramirez, however. Traveling, after all, is not complete without chow and the two did not miss out on enjoying an authentic Korean meal.
“Me and the beautiful @piawurtzbach enjoying our authentic Korean lunch!” Ramirez wrote via Instagram on March 31. “Munch munch munch!”
Wurtzbach has taken her fans to Tokyo, New York, Singapore and Dubai, as well as local destinations Aurora, Cebu and Baguio in past episodes.
This time, she made no mistake in choosing Ramirez as her Korean adventure buddy. Ramirez, after all, is the Korean Tourism Organization’s honorary ambassador. JB
