Jinkee Pacquiao says ‘kumare’ Claudine Barretto doesn’t owe her money

MANILA, Philippines – Jinkee Pacquiao has broken her silence and clarified that Claudine Barretto does not owe her any money.

Barretto held an Instagram livestream on Wednesday night to address the issue of her alleged debt to the wife of Sen. Manny Pacquiao.

Jinkee left a comment on Barretto’s livestream:  “Mare ipaalam ko lang sa kanila na wala kang utang sa akin. At wala din tayong business. Masaya ako na friends tayo at kumare kita. I love u mare!”

In the livestream, Barretto belied rumors that she has unpaid debts to Pacquiao.

“Lately, may mga lumalabas na baon baon daw ako sa utang kay Jinkee Pacquiao at saka lumalabas rin, meron kaming business or transaction or trabaho na pinasukan na hindi nagprosper, parang ganyan,” Barretto said.

“So kaklaruhin ko ngayon pa lang, wala po akong kahit na anong utang kahit kanino. Kahit kay Miss Jinkee Pacquiao na kumare ko,” she added.

Barretto also thanked Pacquiao for speaking up on the issue and clearing her name.

Barretto posted a screenshot of Pacquiao’s comment on her livestream captioned: “Thank you for clearing my name, @jinkeepacquiao.” / gsg
