The three-minute video kicks off with a homecoming party for Dustin, who is portrayed by Gaten Matarazzo, with the 1985 Mötley Crüe song “Home Sweet Home” playing on the background.

It then shows how the teens are seemingly living a normal life, until something slimy and scary arrives along with a mysterious gunman.

“We’re not kids anymore,” Mike, played by Finn Wolfhard, says in the trailer. “I mean, what did you think? That we’re just going to sit in my basement all day playing games for the rest of our lives?”

The third season of “Stranger Things” is set to start streaming in Netflix on July 4, 2019.

“Stranger Things” stars Matarazzo, Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, and Noah Schnapp, among others.

Season one of “Stranger Things” aired in July 2016, while the second season was released in October 2017. /cbb
