Candy Pangilinan bemoans gas station’s mistake of loading wrong fuel in mom’s car

Actress Candy Pangilinan recently took to social media to express her disappointment after a gas station loaded the wrong fuel in her mother’s car.
Pangilinan shared that Power Fill gas station in Visayas Avenue, Quezon City, loaded diesel instead of unleaded fuel in her mother’s car, as per her Instagram post on March 17.
“Ngayon kinausap ko na ayusin nila, sabi nila sa akin, wala daw mekaniko tonight at bukas na lang daw (I talked to them today. They told me there is no mechanic tonight and that I should come back tomorrow instead),” she said.
“Mahal daw kasi yung mekaniko na available. Eh diba mas mahal pag nasira yung sasakyan (They said the available mechanic is expensive, but isn’t it more expensive if the car breaks down)?”

Pangilinan further shared that the way she was spoken to seemed as if she was the one lacking in understanding.
“Ano ba dapat gawin ko? Parang gusto ko sana magalit. Kaso puyat ako at wala pa akong tulog (What am I supposed to do? I want to be angry, but I have not had any sleep),” she said.
Meanwhile, Power Fill has since reached out to Pangilinan to apologize for the error on their part via their official Instagram account.
“On behalf of Powerfill Gas Station Management, humihingi po kami ng labis na paumanhin sa pangyayaring ito na mali po ang naikargang gasolina sa sasakyan ng inyong ina,” Power Fill commented on Pangilinan’s post. “Malabis po naming ikinalungkot ang pangyayaring ito.”

The management further said that as per the staff and branch manager, the car of Pangilinan’s mother has since been drained of the wrong fuel and been looked into by a mechanic to ensure it is not in any way damaged.
“Kung sakali namang magkaroon ng diperensya ang inyong sasakyan na konektado o direktang tumutukoy sa insidenteng ito, kami po ay handang makipagtulungan o managot sa anumang gastusin ng inyong sasakyan.”
