While she’s excited about finishing her followup to her platinum-selling 2015 album “Revival,” Selena Gomez admitted that she’s also starting to feel the pressure.

In a recent Instagram live video, the pop star gave her fans an update on how far along she is in the creative process.

“I’m currently in the studio, and it’s going really good… I’m just nervous about it, honestly, because I feel like the next few choices I’m going to make are very crucial,” said Selena, who vowed that the new record will drop “very soon.” “So, I’m trying to be really diligent and patient with everything.”

Meanwhile, in an earlier interview with Beats 1 on Apple Music, the singer related that she makes it a point to take her time in between music releases to make sure that everything is up to her standards.
