Taguig court orders arrest of Nicko Falcis

MANILA, Philippines — A court has ordered the arrest of Nicardo Falcis II, a former business partner of actress and television host Kris Aquino.

The order for arrest dated March 8 was signed by acting Presiding Judge Felix Reyes of the Regional Trial Court Branch 70 in Taguig City.

Falcis allegedly violated Section 9 (j) (Obtaining money through an access device) of R.A. 8484 or the Access Device Regulation Act of 1998. He can post bail of P60,000 for his provisional liberty.

The order has been transmitted to the Subpoena and Warrant Section of the Quezon City Police District, as Falcis lives in Quezon City, and the Station Commander of the Taguig City Police Station.

Copies of the order were also sent to the office of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) main office in Camp Crame.

Falcis was Aquino’s former business aide, but the relationship turned sour after the celebrity accused Falcis of robbing her of around P40 million worth of investments. /ee
