“Wonder Woman” teammates, star Gal Gadot and director Patty Jenkins, congratulated actress Brie Larson on her very own superhero movie, “Captain Marvel,” which debuted globally last week.
“Congratulations, team Captain Marvel,” tweeted Jenkins, who is back for the “Wonder Woman” sequel. The filmmaker shared fan art of the two heroines flying together. “Can’t wait to see it, and our whole WW crew wish you a great weekend,” Jenkins added.
Larson eventually responded with “Thank you, sister!”
Gadot, who plays the warrior princess, also posted a drawing depicting the powerful women on Instagram stories. Gadot tagged Larson and wrote, “I’m so happy for you, sister! Congrats.”
In a recent interview shared by nonprofit group The Female Lead on Twitter, Larson revealed one of her favorite superheroes
