Parents have much to be concerned about when it comes to what their kids see on the internet. While some might add restrictions to their children’s internet use, a group of mothers from the United Kingdom has resorted to making a porn film.

A TV documentary titled “Mums Make Porn” follows four moms who create an x-rated film that depicts sex in a way that they would prefer over mainstream porn.
The executive producer, Emma Morgan, said in a statement on Tuesday, March 12, that the show was conceptualized while doing research on porn statistics and how porn contributes to teens’ sex education.
“We did a lot of research on the subject and much of mainstream porn depicted violence,” she said.
The women come from different backgrounds, including a writer, a stylist and a photographer. Morgan said the moms were “open-minded” and each had a different view of porn.
Before making the film, the moms had to research hardcore porn, which left them revolted at what their kids could access for free online, reported The Mirror on March 10.
One mom, Sarah, cried after watching rape-based content.
“We need to show kids that there’s something else than this horrible sh*t we see on the internet,” she said. “If my son treated a woman like that I would kick his arse to kingdom come.”
The women originally numbered five, but one dropped out because she was “religious and felt morally conflicted,” said Morgan. However, she has been supportive of the project and saw the film; Morgan said she was “pleased with the result.”
The show will start airing on March 20 on British public service network Channel 4. The last episode of the three-part series will show the film directed by the four moms. Niña V. Guno /ra
