This earned the commendation of Jayda’s father, Dingdong Avanzado, who replied to Espanto’s tweet, thanking him for being a true friend to Jayda.
“Thank you for being a true friend to @jaydaavanzado. Your actions really show what you are really made of,” Avanzado wrote.
“Your parents raised you well. You have set a good example for others especially your generation to emulate,” he added.

Singer-actress Jessa Zaragoza, Jayda’s mother, earlier called out her daughter’s bashers who tweeted “Kill that girl”, referring to Jayda.
Zaragoza, in an Instagram post, said her daughter has been receiving “below the belt” direct messages from her bashers, telling her offensive words.
“Naisip ko, talagang sumobra sobra na kayo. Pinagpasensyahan na nga lang namin mag asawa yung mga kung ano-anong pinapadala nyong direct messages kay Jayda, Zaragoza wrote on her Instagram post. / gsg
