Nadine Samonte and husband Richard Chua chose the sky and clouds as their inspiration for the baby shower of their second child.
The “Starstruck” alumna had an airplane-themed party in anticipation of the arrival of her child, which will be a baby boy. The celebration was held at the Savoy Hotel Manila in Pasay City.
The baby shower had lots of white and blue balloons, as well as plane displays hanging from above, as seen on Samonte’s Instagram page last Tuesday, March 5. Part of the sky-themed displays were letters spelling out the baby’s name, Austin Titus.
The party place also had a kid’s station, where young guests were encouraged to paint their own masterpieces.
The soon-to-be-mom also loved the “superb” details of her cake, which bore cloud patterns and a plane figure sitting on top of the cake.
While the kids made their way through the floor littered with glossy blue and white balloons, grown-ups also had fun at the party. At one point, they even participated in a game where women had to bottle-feed and change the diapers of their male partners.
Samonte first surprised her husband about expecting their second child last September 2018. They later had a gender reveal party in January. The baby will follow their firstborn Heather Sloane, born in 2016. JB
