Pregnant Nadine Samonte rushes self to hospital

Despite being extra careful to ensure a safe pregnancy, actress Nadine Samonte rushed herself to the hospital for the first time in her life.

Samonte said on Monday night in an Instagram post that she experienced difficulty in breathing while having lunch.

She recounted that she called the secretary of her obstetrician-gynecologist (OB-GYN) and was advised to go to the hospital’s emergency room.

“I was praying kanina na sana everything is okay, everything will be okay. Ang hirap pala pag buntis talaga bigla-bigla may mga nangyayari. Ang hirap pa kasi wala pa lagi si hubby ko so lagi ako mag-isa,” Samonte added.

The actress said she immediately recovered after taking medicine at the emergency room and felt relief after fearing it might affect her baby.

“Sa mga nagtatanung, yes I’m still APAS so injection every day again I’m not complaining and I know this will be another beautiful journey for me because he/she is beautiful,” Samonte added.

The actress recently underwent tests and found out she still has antiphospholipid antibody syndrome (APAS) and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) even after her first pregnancy.

The Starstruck season one contestant announced her second pregnancy after surprising husband Richard Chua. Their firstborn Heather Sloane was born in 2016. /cbb
