Arci Muñoz welcomed by Sri Lankan president

MANILA, Philippines — Actress Arci Muñoz felt honored to be welcomed by Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena as the former visited the latter’s home.
Muñoz shared a photo of herself with the Sri Lankan president and First Lady Jayanthi Pushpa Kumari in an Instagram post on Monday captioned: “Sa ngalan ng sining.”

“It’s not every day that you get to be welcomed by the president of Sri Lanka in his country and in his home and be on Sri Lankan news,” Muñoz wrote in a separate post.

“Thank you to His Excellency President Maithripala Sirisena for your hospitality. An experience I will cherish for my entire existence. I am humbled,” the actress added.
Also in the photo was Ronilo Abayan, the Filipino artist behind a portrait of Sirisena which was gifted by President Rodrigo Duterte during the Sri Lankan president’s recent state visit to the Philippines. /cbb
