Joyce Ching is now engaged.
The Kapuso actress happily announced that she is set to get married to her non-showbiz boyfriend Kevin Alimon. This she revealed on Instagram Thursday.
“So, this happened three days ago,” Ching said in her post as she showed off her engagement ring.

Meanwhile, Alimon posted another photo that showed him professing his love to his new fiancée.

Ching said that one of the perks of having a non-showbiz boyfriend was “may iba kayong napag-uusapan, parang hindi lang kayo sa close sa showbiz or work (You have something to talk about that isn’t about showbiz or work).”
“Magkaiba [kayo] ng world, so marami napag-uusapan at marami kayong natutunan sa isa’t isa,” she said in a GMA Network interview. “Yung advantage kapag showbiz (boyfriend), hindi ka kailangan mag-explain kasi alam niya yung mundo ng showbiz. Kapag non-showbiz, kailangan mong ipaintindi yung ibang bagay.”
(You come from different worlds, so you have a lot to talk about and learn a lot from each other. The advantage of having a showbiz boyfriend is you don’t need to explain it to him since he knows the world of show biz. But when it comes to a non-showbiz boyfriend, you need to explain to him what it’s all about.)
