Christopher de Leon and Sandy Andolong renewed their vows in the scenic Halong Bay in Vietnam to mark their 39 years together.
Andolong shared the special moment via Instagram on Feb. 25, which showed her and De Leon looking all loved up during their bridal shoot and the intimate wedding-vow renewal itself.
“Bridal shoot at Halong Bay,” said Andolong.
In her pictures, she and De Leon can be seen posing while on a cruise, with Halong Bay as their backdrop.
Andolong further shared that the bridal shoot is for The Wedding Library’s bridal fair slated for May at the Megatrade Hall in SM Megamall.
In her other post, the couple can be seen renewing their vows in the presence of their loved ones. Andolong sported a sophisticated and elegant white gown by fashion designer Mikee Andrei, while De Leon wore a crisp black suit for the occasion.
“To make our trip more memorable @theweddinglibraryph held an intimate renewal of vows to celebrate our 39th year,” said Andolong.
Celebrities and fans alike took to Andolong’s post, in which they congratulated the couple, such as actress Janine Gutierrez, actor-singer Ogie Alcasid, beauty queen Lara Quigaman and, of course, De Leon’s adoptive daughter with Nora Aunor, Lotlot de Leon.
“So beautiful, nanay!!!!” Gutierrez quipped. Gutierrez is Lotlot de Leon’s daughter with ex-husband actor Ramon Christopher.
“Happy 39th!!” said Alcasid. “God bless you both.”

Lotlot, meanwhile, greeted De Leon and Andolong a happy anniversary, calling them “nanay and daddy.”
“Happy Anniversary Nanay and Daddy!” she said. “Love you!!!”

De Leon has shared in the past that he first knew of Sandy through a feature story about her in a magazine.
“I said, ‘This is the girl I will marry!’” De Leon said back in February 2018.
The two eventually met when they got to work together for a documentary on the late President Ferdinand Marcos and his wife, Imelda. They then began dating a couple of months later.
Andolong and De Leon tied the knot in a civil union in 1981 and reaffirmed their marriage in a Catholic ceremony in 2001. Together, they have five kids: actress-singer-beauty queen Mariel de Leon, Rafael Sandino, Juan Carlos Miguel, Augusto Gabriel and Maria Mikaela.
