MANILA, Philippines — Real-life couple Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil’s movie “Alone/Together” has earned over P200 million since it opened in cinemas.
Production house Black Sheep announced the milestone via Instagram on Friday: “Omg! It’s till so hard to believe. We belong together talaga, sheepmates! P200,715,976.31 as of Feb. 21.”
The film’s director Antoinette Jadaone expressed thanks to supporters who watched the film.
“OMG!!!!!!!!! MARAMING SALAMAT!!!!!!!! Salamat mga napuwing, ka-Ingat ka at na-traydor ng mga alaala!!!!!!!!!! Sulit na sulit ang hirap at pagod,” Jadaone wrote in an Instagram post on Friday.
“Alone/Together,” a romantic drama film, opened in cinemas last Wednesday, Feb. 13.
The romantic drama film tells the story of former college sweethearts Christine (Soberano) and Raf (Gil) who meet again during a turning point in their lives. /muf
