Broadcast journalist Julius Babao and his family had the opportunity to dine with best-selling author-poet Lang Leav on Thursday.
Babao, with his wife Christine Bersola and their daughter Antonia, got to meet Leav and her mother at a buffet dinner in Makati City, as seen on his Instagram photo.
He shared that they had an “interesting talk” about arts, books and movies. Babao also gave a shoutout to Maine Mendoza, who is a big fan of the author.
Bersola likewise posted her own photo of the meeting and said it was an “unforgettable night.”
She said they missed Mendoza, and told her: “Next time, the stars will align for you two to finally meet!”
The best-selling author is known for her works such as “Memories,” “Love and Misadventure” and “Sad Girls.” She is currently in Manila for book signing on Feb. 23 and 24. /ra
