It is better late than never for the daughters of Sunshine Cruz, who poured out for their mother some much-needed Valentine appreciation.
The actress was proud to share letters she got from her girls, Chesca, Sam and Angelina, as seen on her Instagram Stories and posts.
Cruz first bared the love letter she got from Sam. Her daughter assured her that “no matter what challenges you may face in life, we can all go through it together as a team.”
“I hope you know we are so amazed and proud of the woman you’ve become!” Sam gushed about her mom.
Cruz also had a dedicated Instagram Story from her youngest child Chesca, who lauded the actress for being there for her not only as a mother, but also as a best friend.
“When I grow up, I wanna be just like you,” Chesca said. “Not only because of all your successes in life, but also the person that you are. You are caring, funny, understanding, inspiring and the greatest role model any child could ask for.”
While Sam and Chesca expressed their love for mom on social media, Cruz’s eldest, Angelina, opted for an old-fashioned kind of greeting — through a personalized greeting card.
The 17-year-old singer apologized to Cruz for not getting her anything on Valentine’s Day itself. To make up for it, she wrote her a “kinda-late” letter and a gift.
“Thank you so much for everything, and know that I’ll never get tired of showing how much I love you!” Angelina told Cruz.
The mom of three greatly appreciated their heartwarming messages, telling them: “Kayo ang buhay at inspirasyon ko (You are my life and inspiration).”
“I will always be here for the three of you,” Cruz told her daughters, in her reply to Sam’s greeting. JB
