While some actresses want to take on heavier dramatic roles, Megan Young yearns for more lighthearted projects—something similar to the Korean dramas she so loves to watch.

“I love romantic comedies, but I have yet to do one. I also love Korean dramas… I love their lightness and endearing moments. So, that’s  my dream,” Megan said at her recent contract renewal with GMA 7. “I also love anime that gets live-action adaptations.”

Megan was last seen in the 2018 afternoon series “The Stepdaughters,” which she topbilled with her boyfriend, Mikael Daez, and Katrina Halili.

“I’m thankful to GMA 7 for giving us a program that showcased our talents. This year, I’m looking forward to something different. I don’t mind doing another afternoon series, but I’m also looking forward to hosting jobs,” she said.
