MANILA, Philippines — Real-life couple Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil’s movie “Alone/Together” earned over P61 million gross sales two days since it opened in cinemas.
Director and writer of the film Antoinette Jadaone happily announced the news in an Instagram post on Friday.
Jadaone posted a photo that read, “Tenkyuuuu for being our Valentine’s date, sheepmates! P61,901,086.85 as of Feb. 14.”
“HALAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! MARAMING, MARAMING SALAMAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Jadaone wrote in the caption.
“Alone/Together,” a romantic drama film, opened in cinemas on Wednesday, Feb. 13.
The romantic drama film tells the story of former college sweethearts Christine (Soberano) and Raf (Gil) who meet again during a turning point in their lives. /muf
