MANILA, Philippines — “Alone/Together,” starring real life couple Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, earned over P21 million gross sales when the movie premiered in cinemas on Wednesday.

“Kayo po talaga ang great love namin sheepmates. P21,672,901.58 as of Feb. 13,” said Black Sheep Productions in an Instagram post on Thursday.

The romantic drama film written and directed by Antoinette Jadaone tells the story of former college sweethearts Christine (Soberano) and Raf (Gil) who meet again during a turning point in their lives.

Jadaone took to social media on Thursday to thank the supporters who watched the film on its first day: “Yay, maraming salamat sa lahat ng mga nanood sa unang araw pa lang!!!”

“Alone/Together” marks the love team’s return to the big screen after their blockbuster hit “My Ex and Whys” in 2017. /muf
