MANILA, Philippines — Hashtag member Jameson Blake has defended himself from an irked netizen who alleged that he cut the queue during South Korean girl group BLACKPINK’s concert in Manila.

The netizen claimed that Blake did not line up prior to entering the concert’s venue: “So eto na nga. Jameson Blake of Hashtags is here and of course dahil artista daw sya, hindi sya sumusunod sa queue.”

“While all of us REAL FANS nag-tiis sa init at siksikan for HOURS just to get in line. Galing naman po,” the netizen added.

In the video attached to the tweet, Blake is seen standing with his friends in front of hundreds of fans waiting in line.

Blake quoted the said tweet on Monday and explained, “We got there and showed our queue number. The organizers, guards, the people in charge told us to stay by the side but we were still part the line.”

“We just waited til’ it was our turn to get in. We were just following rules,” he added.

Blake was among the lucky ones who scored VIP tickets to see Jennie, Lisa, Rosé and Jisoo up close during their concert over the weekend at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena. /cbb
