Kyla is still dreaming of having another child with husband Rich Alvarez, despite suffering from a miscarriage last year.
The R&B singer expressed her hope of having another addition to her family in an Instagram post last Jan. 18, which showed her, Alvarez and their son Toby in some part of Europe.
She said that both she and her husband have a dream of traveling the world with their kids, hoping that they will be blessed with another child “either this year or next year.” “And we claim we will be blessed with another one,” Kyla added.
And to make sure that their wish will be heard, Kyla said that both of them prayed in every church they chanced upon during their trip.
“We want to show the kids that the world can be safe, kind, and fascinating,” Kyla said. “We noticed that travelling has been good for Toby. We saw how it helps improve his communication skills, his behavior and learn to follow family rules.”
And while she is hoping to have another child, Kyla in the meantime showed how much of a loving mother she is to her firstborn when he had to visit the doctor on Thursday. “Hate it when my kid is sick,” the singer expressed.
Kyla suffered two miscarriages in 2018, but previously said she was still hopeful that she would be blessed with another child. “I know everything happens for a reason,” she said when she revealed her second miscarriage. “And through all the pain and trying experiences, [I] know something wonderful will happen. I’ll be back soon.”
She and Alvarez welcomed their firstborn, Toby Elsiah, in May 2013. /ra
