Ai-Ai delas Alas and Anne Curtis go a long way back, beginning when the two worked together in “Ang Cute ng Ina Mo” in 2007 and “Dyesebel” in 2014. And it’s a beautiful relationship that has developed through the years from their projects together, as Delas Alas recently praised Curtis, who she fondly calls her “anak,” on social media.
Delas Alas penned a heartfelt message for Curtis last Jan. 19 via Instagram, on which she shared a sweet photo of the two of them. She thanked Curtis for never forgetting her despite having gone on to be successful in her own right.
“Thank you baby girl @annecurtissmith… As always hindi mo ako nakalimutan ang aking anak sa ‘Dyesebel,’” wrote Delas Alas. “Madami [nang] narating ay mabait na anak pa din.”
Delas Alas attested to Curtis’ goodness of heart in real life, sharing how she worked so hard to be able to buy a house for her mom Carmen in Australia.
“Sabagay mabait naman talagang anak to naalala ko dati binili nya ang mommy nya ng house sa Australia kaya super work sya.”
She also thanked Curtis for doing a cameo in her latest project, comedy film “Sons of Nanay Sabel” with hip-hop group Ex Battalion under Viva Films.
“Salamat sa pag cameo sa ‘Sons,'” she said. “GOD BLESS YOU BEBE GIRL at sana mag ka apo na’ko sayo hehe.”
Curtis was moved by the gesture and replied to Delas Alas, promising she will always be her “baby girl.”
Curtis wrote, “Love you nay! From ‘Ang Cute ng Ina Mo’ to ‘Dyesebel’! I’ll always be your bebe girl!”
Del9as Alas, too, echoed her sentiments, saying she would always be her baby even if Curtis goes on to have children of her own.
“@annecurtissmith yes baby girl,” she said. “Kahit may baby ka na ikaw pa din ang baby girl ko always.” /ra
