IV of Spades drops debut album ‘CLAPCLAPCLAP!’

MANILA, Philippines — Funk-rock band IV of Spades finally dropped their first full-length record “CLAPCLAPCLAP!”

The trio surprised fans on Friday with the release of their 15-track album which features their singles “Bata, Dahan-Dahan!,” “In My Prison” and “Take That Man.”

IV of Spades consisting of Blaster Silonga, Zild Benitez and Badjao De Castro is also known for songs “Mundo,” “Ilaw sa Daan” and “Hey Barbara.”

Prior to releasing the album, the band opened for Panic! At The Disco during its concert in Manila billed as “Pray for the Wicked” last October 2018.

In November 2018, they performed at the Clockenflap Festival in Hong Kong and shared the stage with international acts like Interpol, David Byrne, Khalid and Wolf Alice.

The group was also nominated at the MTV Europe Music Award 2018 in the Best Southeast Asian Act category.  /muf
