Fil-Canadian Shay Mitchell arrives in Manila to promote Netflix series ‘You’
MANILA, Philippines — Filipino-Canadian actress Shay Mitchell arrived in Manila on Sunday morning.
The “Pretty Little Liar” star teased her fans about her arrival as she greeted them in a Twitter post.
“Hello Manila!!!” Mitchell tweeted alongside emojis of a high five and the Philippine flag.

Mitchell is in the country to promote her Netflix series “You” at the Greenbelt Gallery at the second level of Greenbelt 5 on January 15.
She will be accompanied by her co-star Penn Badgley during the one day fan event.
Before meeting their fans, both Mitchell and Badgley will meet select members of the press on January 14.
The series “You” revolves around the story of a bookstore manager named Joe Goldberg, played by Badgley, as he falls in love with writer Guinevere Beck, portrayed by actress Elizabeth Lail.
Mitchell, on the other hand, plays the role of Peach Salinger, the writer’s best friend. /je
