It’s going to be a baby boy for “Starstruck” alumna Nadine Samonte and her husband, businessman Richard Chua.

The Kapuso actress happily announced the news via a video posted on her YouTube channel last Wednesday, Jan. 2.

In the video, Chua is seen holding a purple balloon above his wife, while their firstborn, Heather Sloane, plays with another balloon.

Moments later, Samonte pops the balloon with confetti coming out, indicating they will have a baby boy. Heather then smiles looking at the scattered confetti.

The video also shows a delicious-looking cake and cupcakes colored blue, each decorated with a mini-blue banner that said “It’s a boy!”

Samonte surprised her husband with the news of baby No. 2, as she hid three home pregnancy tests in a box to make him guess what was inside back in September.

However, Samonte had a scare when she rushed herself to the hospital, where she revealed she still has antiphospholipid antibody syndrome (APAS) and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) even after her first pregnancy with Heather.  /ra
