‘Wear and tear’ takes a toll on singer
Performers can’t rest on their laurels. In her heyday, there was no song Problematic Siren couldn’t sing.
But, age and wear and tear have since caught up with PS, who continues to charge a six-figure rate per song.
Recently, the big bosses of a multinational company learned this the hard way when they hired PS to sing three songs in their corporate event. Everything went as planned, until PS started scaling the high notes of her tricky song—and croaked!
Real trouper that she was, PS finished the number as if nothing happened. After all, she still went home almost a million bucks richer! Let’s give her an A for “Aba, mayaman!”
