Heart Evangelista is known not only for being fashion-savvy but also for her immense love for dogs.
And it appears that the actress passed on her love for all things fashionable to her furry friends, one of which was seen sporting an expensive scarf on Instagram Thursday.
Evangelista shared a photo of herself and one of her dogs, an Aspin named Panda, whom she affectionately called as her “mini-me.” “We are really starting to look alike!” the actress said.
The photo showed Panda donned a blue top, a brown collar and a colorful silk scarf. However, one netizen pointed out that the dog’s accessory was like no other, as it was from the luxury brand Hermes.
A certain Myrtle Mydel Cahayon made her own research and found that Panda’s scarf has a high price tag, selling for $780 or P40,560 (around P40,973 in today’s conversion, as of this writing.)
“Ito na naman si Mareng Heart para ipamuka satin na mahirap tayo (Here’s Heart again making us feel poor),” Cahayon joked about Evangelista’s accessory choice. “Gusto ko din maging puppy (I want to be a puppy too).”
The netizen’s post garnered around 20,000 likes and 14,000 shares as of this writing.
This was not the first time the actress’ fashion choices made the rounds on social media. Previously netizens spoofed their own “outfit of the day” (OOTD) when going out for errands after Evangelista chose a Martin Bautista blue gown as her outfit to buy corned beef at a grocery store. /ra
