Jackie Forster and her brood went out traveling to the United Arab Emirates, days before 2018 ended.
The 40-year-old actress, pictured with son Jared and daughter Caleigh, were aboard a plane to Dubai, where they ended the year with a bang. Forster shared with her fans their adventure via her Instagram account last Monday, Dec. 31.
Her family saw the new year coming by watching the grand fireworks display from the Burj Khalifa, referred to as the tallest building in the world.
Forster, along with husband Michael Franken and their three kids, had horns and party hats for the new year as they had dinner at a nearby hotel.
“[W]e planned to be away from the crowds because of the kids and so we can easily get a ride back home and good thing we did because kids were knocked out in the taxi which we got within 3 mins,” she shared.
They also visited the Dubai Gold Souk, which she said was the largest gold market in the world. Little Caleigh, assisted by a man, even demonstrated how to don a headscarf.
On their second day in the trip, the family had sand on their feet as they went on a desert safari tour. Forster said she misses son Kobe Paras who was with them during Christmas in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, she stated that she plans to get back to Dubai “for more awesomeness.”
She also shared a video from their visit to the desert, where her daughter felt she was in a roller coaster ride when their car went downhill.
“Dubai is really a great place to visit for [adventure-seekers] and people who love exploring new cultures,” Forster said. JB
