Kristine Hermosa-Sotto shared their first family picture of the year.

Cheers to new beginnings, indeed, with Yassi Pressman and her family.

Other celebrities meanwhile took their time to reminisce and reflect on the year that was 2018.

Vice Ganda shared how happy she was to fulfill her mother’s wish to go to the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain.

Last year she said she wished to go to Barcelona to be able to see the Sagrada Familia. My profession deprives me of quality time with my family. So when given the chance i make sure every moment counts and everything creates a wonderful memory. Before this year ends i brought her to where she wished to be. I didnt know we had to book online to get access inside the church. So i asked a friend for help. Unfortunately only one could get inside. And like a parent to a child I am now patiently waiting for her to finish her ‘field trip’ inside the Sagrada Familia. I AM THE HAPPIEST SON RIGHT NOW!!!! Fantastica is such a huge hit and continues to win in box office. But for me this is a bigger achievement. My biggest so far. To be able to grant my Nanay’s wishes as she gets older is big deal for me. Vice Ganda is accomplished. Tutoy is successful. This is how i end my 2018.

Kris Aquino may have had a challenging year with her autoimmune disorder but this did not stop her from being thankful.

Thank you @bincailuntayao and @allnipponairways_official for taking care of kuya josh & bimb. i couldn’t tolerate the super cold weather, my chronic urticaria is now bad, and it was too expensive to rebook all of us because it’s peak travel season. Anne Curtis had a blast in 2018 as she celebrated her 21st anniversary in the industry.

Celebrating my 21st anniversary in the industry this year, was truly memorable. 3 films. 3 different genres and 3 strong and empowered female leads.. somehow managed to fit in a 21st Anniversary concert, attend film festivals, Showtime Monday to Saturday, oh and run the London Marathon for the benefit of UNICEF Philippines. Don’t know how I quite did it, but it happened. 😂 THANK YOU to all my fans and followers who supported my crazy silverscreen journey this year. I am truly grateful for the love you have given me. It has gotten me even more inspired for some awesome movie making in 2019! Thank you to my directors @ayrin @erikmatti @yamlaranas for giving me Aya, Nina Manigan and Leana and to my @viva_films family for allowing me to take on these sublime films! ❤️ #SIDandAYAnotalovestory #buybustmovie #aurorathemovie

5.) Climbed one last mountain for the year. Flew to Thailand to say goodbye to my dad who might need to move back to our hometown next year. Missed a trip to the ocean. And now, seated across a buffet table listening to music from the early 2000’s. It goes without saying that I feel humbled by the amount of blessings given to me and the chances to travel this year (most for work). The people I love know how much my soul has been looking for meaning this year. But I couldn’t have been able to travel as much if not for the opportunities to work extremely hard the last few years. Thank YOU also for continuing to patronize our movies and tv shows, for buying the products we endorse, the magazines that feature us, for keeping my book on the best sellers list and for constantly checking if I’m ok (on a personal level). I’m proud of the movies I did this year. I worked hard for them. Proud of the soap we will give you next year. Was heartbroken over a movie I had to give up to try and go to school. Was rejected by that extremely exclusive school. Will try again next year for the same school…fell in love over and over again with situations, places and scenes. Thankful for the teams I worked with. For the fans who organized block screenings and fan meetings. Happy to have reconnected with family members I havent seen in years because of work. Glad to have been mentored by people I look up to, to produce new scripts. So again, THANK YOU! ❤️ I will end my novel-like posts here and get back to the buffet table. Happy New Year, my loves! ❤️ #bestofmine2018
