WATCH: Liza Soberano now a Hall of Famer for ‘100 Most Beautiful Faces’
After being part of the most beautiful faces list for four consecutive years, actress Liza Soberano has been admitted to the list’s prestigious Hall of Fame, joining the likes of Gal Gadot, Suzy, Kate Beckinsale and Lily Collins.
Film critic TC Candler is back for his annual most beautiful faces list, as seen via YouTube on Friday, Dec. 28. Leading the handful of Filipino actresses who made it to the list is none other than Soberano, who claimed last year’s top spot.
Soberano was the fourth most beautiful face this year, dropping three places from her position last year.
Included in the list are two other Kapamilya actresses, Nadine Lustre and Jessy Mendiola. Lustre ranked 70th, eight places higher than her last year’s 78th. Mendiola, on the other hand, took the 55th place this year, 16 spots higher than last year.
Kim Domingo, who took last year’s 98th spot, and Kathryn Bernardo, who ranked 60th, were both not included in the list this year. Meanwhile, French model and actress Thylane Blondeau, who is also a Hall of Famer, topped this year’s list.
TC Candler also released his list of most handsome faces of 2018 on the same day. Two local actors made it this year: James Reid and Daniel Matsunaga.
Lustre’s boyfriend, Reid, ranked 21st, 17 spots lower than last year’s 4th place. Meanwhile, Matsunaga’s rank went up from 88th last year to 39th this year.
Soberano’s on-screen partner Enrique Gil did not make it to the list this 2018. Hall of Famer “Aquaman” star Jason Momoa took the number one spot for this year’s most handsome face. JB
