Filipina wins ‘The X Factor Romania’ 2018 with Beyoncé’s hits

MANILA, Philippines – Filipina Bella Santiago was proclaimed winner of this year’s “The X Factor Romania” after performing a mash-up of Beyoncé’s hit songs.

In a video uploaded in X Factor Romania’s official Youtube account, Santiago wowed audience as she belted Beyoncé’s tunes “Love On Top” and “Crazy in Love.”

Early on in the contest, Bucharest-based Santiago has already stunned judges of the talent show when she gave her own rendition of “Bang Bang,” an upbeat chart-topping pop song of Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj.

Santiago beat four other finalists of the popular television music competition in Romania.

Before joining The X Factor Romania, Santiago competed in local singing contest “Tawag ng Tanghalan” of noontime program “It’s Showtime” back in 2016, where she also performed Beyoncé’s “Crazy In Love.” /kga
