LOOK: MMFF 2018’s ‘Magic 8’ showcases floats for Parade of Stars

MANILA, Philippines — Floats of the “Magic 8” entries showcased creativity and a glimpse of what their films have to offer at the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Parade of Stars on Sunday, Dec. 23.

This year, Parañaque City is hosting the annual parade which will begin at Shopwise in Sucat and pass through Dr. A. Santos Avenue, turn left on V. Medina Avenue (Kabihasnan), turn right on Quirino Avenue, left on Naia Road (eastbound lane), right on Macapagal Boulevard (eastbound lane), ending on Bradco Avenue.

Movies in this year’s film festival roster are “Fantastica,” “OTLUM,” “Aurora,” “Rainbow’s Sunset,” “Mary, Marry Me,” “The Girl in the Orange Dress,” “Jack Em Popoy,” and “One Great Love.”

Parade of Stars kicks off the MMFF, which runs from December 25 to the first weekend of January next year.

MMFF is an annual event organized by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) to “help promote and enhance the preservation, growth and development of the local film industry.”
